REVIEW REQUEST FOR S1 ALLIANCE
(NEW & Returning teams)
The S1 Alliance enrollment period for Fall 2025-Spring 2026 is January 1, 2025-April 20, 2025. Team Admission to the Section 1 Alliance program requires an initial review request. Coaches with specific teams that feel ready to play club soccer under the Alliance umbrella will need to apply here first.
The team’s competitive record, coaching certs and credentials, history of volunteering, age of players, and other factors will determine admission or rejection. Simply applying here is NOT a guarantee of Alliance promotion. This is the first step in a long approval process.
Deadline for application to Section 1 Alliance for the Fall CSL season will be April 20, 2025. It’s recommended to apply well in advance of this deadline. Coaches, Team Managers, and/or RC’s can submit this review. File one submission for each team applying for approval. Review the Alliance Calendar to prepare for important dates. Applications received after April 20 will not be accepted.
Do not apply for this review request until you have already filled out the RC Confirmation Document with your Regional Commissioner’s signature. It will need to be uploaded with this Google application form. Coaches will need to sign the Coach Verification Document. This confirms that the coach understands the requirements and constraints of the CSL, Alliance, USSF certifications, and AYSO. If your team is promoted to Alliance, coaches will be required to
- ■ read the CSL Rules and Regs,
- ■ read the AYSO guidelines for Alliance,
- ■ obtain coach training via CALSouth or USSF,
- ■ know the IFAB LOTG and any recent law changes, and
- ■ obtain a Coach Account with USSF, or have one in good standing.
